Next Concert April 9 Danny Michel and Amelie Patterson
His thoughtful lyrics and earnest performances have earned him nominations for three Juno awards, The Polaris Prize, and The CBC’s “Heart Of Gold.” Danny’s hopeful songs find a home in everyone’s heart. In 2011, he relocated to Belize and made a recording with the Garifuna Collective, Black Birds Are Dancing Over Me, called by Billboard “One of the best musical works of our time.” Danny’s project, Khlebnikov was recorded during an 18-day arctic expedition through the Northwest Passage and received two 2017 Canadian Folk Music Awards for Producer and Pushing the Boundaries.
‘Everything Nothing’ is the latest drop from Amelie’s newest concept-driven studio project, The Playlist. Rather than recording and releasing all at once, The Playlist is a stream of rolling singles, traversing the emotional, lyrical, and genre spectrum. Whatever captures Amelie’s creative imagination is harnessed and brought into the world in a living and breathing series of songs. The first five tracks from the project have already received critical acclaim including winning Alternative Recording Of The Year from the YYC Music Awards in 2020 for ‘The Patient Kind.’ Her debut album Roll Honey Roll received Alternative Recording of The Year in 2017.

Next Concert March 26 The Amos Garrett and Julian Kerr Duet and Jenny Allen
As one of the most distinctive guitar-players since the Telecaster was invented, Amos Garrett has played rock ‘n’ roll, folk, blues and pop, and his unique style has been praised by Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler. Julian Kerr has been playing piano, bass, and guitar for over 30 years, appearing on such gold record hits as One Tin Soldier and Mr. Monday with The Original Caste.
“Sensual, frank and fearless”, said Calgary Fast Forward Magazine about performing songwriter Jenny Allen. Her first solo recording, Something to Say, produced by Canadian folk legend Valdy, led to invitations at major festivals both in Canada and the US. and widespread critical acclaim, her music swings effortlessly between roots, blues, pop and rock.

Next Concert March 12 Catherine MacLellan and the Jeremy Gignoux Trio
Catherine celebrated the life and legacy of her father, with the album, If It’s Alright With You: The Songs of Gene MacLellan. In 2015 she took home a Juno Award for The Raven’s Sun. Catherine has released her seventh album, Coyote, with songs that touch on themes of change, vulnerability, and letting yourself be seen. Catherine has also been recognized with multiple East Coast Music Awards, Canadian Folk Music Awards, and Music PEI Awards.
