2023-2024 Guitar Raffle
Congratulations to Christy McKeown, winner of our 2023-2024 guitar raffle! Adding to the fun, Christy was in attendance and purchased her ticket at our Lynn Miles/Kevin John Cook concert.
Many thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket on the raffle. We earned $531.00.
All proceeds from the Nickelodeon Guitar Raffle are used to support ArtsCan Circle, a registered charity dedicated to linking creative artists with Indigenous youth at risk in Canada.
ArtsCan Circle hopes to encourage self-esteem amongst Indigenous youth in isolated communities through a cooperative exploration of the arts. ArtsCan Circle sends teams of volunteer musicians & artists to remote Indigenous communities engaging groups of children and youth in workshops to facilitate creative expression and teach skills in playing musical instruments, song-writing, visual arts and performance arts.

2021-2022 Guitar Raffle
Congratulations to Terri Giffin, winner of our 2021-2022 guitar raffle! I delayed a week in calling which was good timing. Terri plans to give the guitar to her husband for his birthday tomorrow.
Once again, Mike MacLeod and The Acoustic Guitar donated a guitar and trail bag for our raffle. Mike is one of the founders of the Nick and was our sound man for many, many years. Thanks Mike!!

Congratulations to Leslie McMechan, winner of our 2019-2020 guitar raffle! Due to COVID we had to cancel the last two clubs of that season and our entire 2020-2021 season as well, so we had to wait until the first club in October ’21 to pick a winner.
